Aivon Oy offers superconducting quantum interference devices (SQUIDs) for measurements of tiny magnetic fields or electric currents. The sensors are operated at cryogenic temperatures near 4 Kelvin achievable by liquid helium or modern cryocoolers. We also design, assemble and test customized low-noise readout electronics for the sensors.

Design and foundry

Aivon Oy offers custom design of superconducting sensors and readout electronics. Aivon runs regularly well-characterized niobium-based Josephson junction process and a simpler pickup coil process . Coulomb Blockade Thermometer

We offer Coulomb Blockade Thermometer (CBT) sensors for primary temperature measurements below 1 Kelvin. CBT’s do not need calibration and tolerate high magnetic fields up to several tens of Teslas.
