Aivon Oy

Aivon Oy is a private Finnish company established in city of Espoo in 2005. The company is located in Otaniemi hi-tech campus, with unique mix of academic and research institutions such as Helsinki University of Technology and VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland.
Aivon Oy has close collaboration with VTT in design and fabrication of superconducting circuits and electronics.

Co-founder and CEO

Jari Penttilä is one of the founders and CEO of Aivon Oy. Dr. Penttilä received his MSc (Eng) in 1995 and Dr.Tech. in 2001. The Thesis contained studies of superconducting and normal state single tunnel junctions and it was carried out at the Low Temperature Laboratory of TKK. After the Thesis, Dr. Penttilä joined VTT to study superconducting electronics (Josephson Voltage Standards, SQUIDs, bolometers). Dr. Penttilä has long experience in building both cryogenic and room temperature measurement setups.
